Inside Safe Program Moves More Angelenos Indoors
The City of Los Angeles’ Inside Safe initiative continues its housing-first strategy to bring people off sidewalks and encampments and into supportive housing. The program partners with local outreach teams, and services are provided as residents stabilize.

Southeast Neighborhood Council Reports Over 40 Housed
On October 28, 2025, the Southeast Los Angeles Neighborhood Council announced that more than 40 individuals experiencing homelessness had accepted housing placement offers after community engagement and coordination with local providers.

2. Community Cleanup & Environmental Action
Keep America Beautiful – Great American Cleanup
The “Great American Cleanup” is the nation’s largest community-improvement program, mobilizing over 300,000 volunteers annually to remove litter, restore public spaces, and plant trees across the U.S.

Hope for Justice Launches “Pedal Through” Campaign
A U.S.-wide initiative by Hope for Justice called “Pedal Through: Epic Ride Across 8 States to Break the Cycle of Human Trafficking” was launched on November 5, 2025. The campaign draws attention to law enforcement and community coordination in anti-trafficking work.

We’re thrilled to announce that Release 2 of the Lightway Advocacy App is now live!
New features include:
Photo Display – Your activity photos are now shown as thumbnails on the Progress screen. No more wondering which activities you documented—your moments are now visualized beautifully.
Expandable Reflection Display – Add and view reflections as part of each activity card. You can now log not only what you did, but how it made you feel and what it meant.
